Letter From the President

Rebecca Chen
2026 President

David Hartigan
2026 Vice-President

I am deeply honored to serve as the 2026 President of AREAA Greater Phoenix. Over the past five years, I’ve been privileged to contribute to AREAA both locally and nationally — as an AREAA A- Lister, board member, vice president, and a passionate advocate for sustainable homeownership in the Asian American community. My journey with AREAA has been driven by one purpose: connecting people, empowering voices, and building bridges across cultures and industries.

Looking back on 2025, we are proud of our accomplishments — from hosting respected speakers like NAR Chief Economist Laurence Yun and the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, to tackling pressing issues such as insurance volatility and market shifts. Our sold-out events, including the Luxury and Commercial Summit, showcased collaboration, innovation, and the collective strength of our AREAA community. None of this would be possible without our valued sponsors. Your belief in AREAA’s mission — to promote sustainable homeownership and economic opportunity for AAPI communities — fuels our growth and impact.

As Greater Phoenix experiences a growing influx of Asian homebuyers, businesses, professionals, and investors, our mission is to strengthen partnerships with community and industry leaders to deliver relevant education, impactful outreach, and meaningful connections for our members and sponsors. Our 2026 Board of Directors, a diverse team of 13 seasoned professionals, is ready to take on the opportunities ahead.

As Greater Phoenix continues to expand, so does AREAA’s responsibility to educate, advocate, and connect. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your continued trust, support, and partnership. I look forward to an inspiring and impactful 2026 — a year where we continue to build bridges, empower communities, and grow together.

Thank you,
Rebecca Chen
